More socks

My next project was going to be something snazzy for my BFF Brigitte, but Dad mentioned that a close friend of his was asking about socks, and since Brigitte's birthday isn't till next month I can afford this detour.

I'm still trying to narrow down the something snazzy for Brigitte.

I really love the idea of her throwing on something like this lace shawl, but I also really like these. She has super tiny feet, so that would be a really quick knit actually.

I want to make something with cables too, I've been assured it's not difficult, I've just never done it. I think this is the perfect pattern to give it a whirl with.
